Maryam Sirvan

Iranian sound artist, vocalist, and composer based in Calgary. Blends noise, processed voice, field recordings, and electronics. Half of the interdisciplinary duo NUM (with Milad Bagheri) since 2010.

Solo albums on The Committee for Sonic Research and Past Inside the Present; support and commissions from Deutschlandfunk Kultur, the Media Arts Committee, and Arts Commons. Has performed at CTM (Berlin), Sled Island, Audio Art (Kraków), and New Music Edmonton.
