canadabasement is the solo project of Calgary musician Mehraun Ehsani. He builds melodic and harmonic soundscapes with guitar, piano, and synth, drifting between ambient, post-rock, folk, and progressive math rock, with electronic, noise, and metal textures. A self-described stage-shy performer, he prefers to fade back and let the music speak.

At A Drone Evening, canadabasement debuted a collaborative set with Maryam Sirvan. He also plays guitar in Hailstones.
